Click to learn about Prof. Mark Braunstein, MD's passionate vision for applying information technology to accelerate the sprint to deliver more efficient, safer, high quality care:
During the 2019 Spring Term, we enjoyed mentoring a Georgia Tech CS6440 student project team, Code Blue. The project selected by team Code Blue was a modern SMART on FHIR solution to pull PDMP reports. Their work showcased an approach to getting available PDMP reports that helps where an EHR does not have PDMP integration, or where clinicians who need to see PDMP reports do not have EHR licenses/access in all care settings. The Code Blue solution stack is open source and is adaptable for pulling any external, non-integrated, digitally accessible patient information. Click to see team Code Blue's project repository.
