C4UH is having success with volunteer physicians and nurses, typically retired, working alongside a local SSP (Syringe Services Program) to offer detection and treatment of Hepatitis C Virus among the homeless. This unique, volunteer powered work builds on the years of trust established by longstanding successful SSP programs. Our team is working to deploy simple measurement to enable cloning of this effective response to a high impact public health issue.
