John's passions for healthcare, trustworthy analytics and useful data science guide his professional work and personal service agenda.  After founding Collaborative For Universal Health (C4UH) and launching initial projects and programs, he conceived and began development of Spiritual Care Everywhere (SCE). 

Spiritual Care Everywhere is a project of C4UH, designed to make spiritual care support accessible anywhere, anytime. Each SCE frontline responses is shaped to each individual's choice of faith (including "affirmation - non-religious"). The initial concept was to connect people seeking spiritual care to prayer ministry / personal support volunteers. Early field work revealed too many requests to address with available volunteers. Pandemic issues greatly multiplied the need and limited volunteer access. John led a reinvention of SCE, weaving together breakthrough advances in computational, AI, and social sciences to fulfill the original vision - anywhere, anytime spiritual care support, responsive to individual choice. 

Today's SCE supports patients, caregivers, family members, students, employees, and communities of all kinds as an always-on scalable rapid response to any issue. SCE operates as an interfaith program, affiliated as a Focus Ministry of Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL.org).  John serves as Care Director of Spiritual Care Everywhere and as an Ordained Minister with Centers for Spiritual Living.
