C4UH successfully demonstrated how a simple open source solution can place PDMP alerts into the clinical workflow. This worked very well, based on existing staffing and systems at varied sites. Established workflows were utilized, without requiring modifications, new roles or re-training.
The proposed open source solution achieved a quick go-live and worked across two states, as reported in MITRE's program assessment.
